New service from Zim Lines by Delta II / Nieuwe dienst van Zim Lines bij Delta II

Dear relation,

Yesterday the Seaspan Dalian is docked at our terminal. The Seaspan Dalian is the first vessel in a new transatlantic service from ZIM Lines. This new service, called Zim North Europe (ZNE), will start with one ship in this rotation. Based on market developments, ZIM Lines is to increase the frequency soon. The service is ZIM Lines' 6th Transatlantic service. The other services call in to the US from the Mediterranean.

In a 30-day sailing schedule, the vessel will call at the following ports: Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, New York, Norfolk and Charleston. The Seaspan Dalian has a capacity of 4252 TEU and we expect to do more than 900 moves.

The fact that ZIM Lines has opted for this service for our terminal, indicates that Delta II is clearly in the market as an interesting option for several shipping companies.

Geachte relatie,

Gisteren is de Seaspan Dalian aangemeerd bij onze terminal. De Seaspan Dalian is het eerste schip van een nieuwe Transatlantische dienst van ZIM Lines. Deze nieuwe dienst, ZIM North Europe genaamd (ZNE), begint met één schip in de rotatie. De bedoeling van ZIM Lines is om de frequentie snel te verhogen volgens de behoefte in de markt. Deze dienst is de 6e Transatlantische dienst van ZIM Lines. De andere diensten doen de US aan vanuit het Middellandse Zeegebied.

In een 30 dagen durend vaarschema worden de volgende havens aangelopen: Antwerpen, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, New York, Norfolk en Charleston. De Seaspan Dalian heeft een capaciteit van 4252 TEU en wij verwachten ruim 900 moves te doen.

Het feit dat ZIM Lines voor deze dienst voor onze terminal kiest, geeft aan dat Delta II nadrukkelijk in de markt ligt als interessante optie voor meerdere rederijen.
